Bodycam footage of the welfare check in February 17, 2024.

Date: February 17, 2024

Time: 7:00 pm

Location: 804 North Doheny Drive

Purpose: check the house for Celeste Rivas Hernandez and to speak with the resident about the missing teen.

Is Celeste at the location? Was she there? Were there any proof that she was there? When was the last time he spoke to her?

According to Andrew Dalton, entertainment writer for AP, D4vd downplayed the relationship he had with Celeste during a body cam communication with detectives

According to Lauren Silver of Court TV, David was eating chips when deputies showed up at his house.

Trap More Ross Patreon page gave full details of the body cam footage during the Grand Jury:

David Burke said Celeste wasn’t there and the last he spoke to her was February 13, 2024 and he last saw her was November 2023.

He told the sheriff that they communicated on Facebook, Instagram, and Discord around 2020 or 2021. They met through online chat and met one time in person.

They showed her picture: yearbook photo with Batman hoodie

They also showed this flyer from instagram:

He told them that she said this was from a year prior in high school.

They proceeded to let him know she’s 13 years old.

They were given consent to look around for signs of Celeste or if she had been there like makeup and hygiene products but they found a lot of Hello Kitty stuff. David explained it’s an artist’s house as he is an artist and an indie pop singer. Many go in and out of the house like other artists.

“He basically said he just met her through the online chat, met one time in person, and from my conversation, I took it as he didn’t know her,” Gonzalez recalled his conversation with Burke. Eric Leonard and Helen Jeong of NBC Los Angeles reported.
